Abstract

This article aims at tackling the mediation of the literary text using a translanguaging approach in academic multilingual and pluricultural courses of French as a foreign language of advanced level. When the learner gets involved as a mediator by resorting to all his languages resources (verbal and non-verbal), works of literature become objects of cultural sharing and no longer out of reach. Besides, it enables the learner to go through an aesthetic experience based on principles of perception, assessment and pleasure (Dewey, 1934).
