Phraseology and stereotypes in Kairouan
Abstract
In this research work, we will study the phraseologisms and stereotypes specific to a linguistic community restricted to a well-defined geographical area, namely the city of Kairouan located in the center of Tunisia. Our objective is to show that stereotypes and phrases specific to a given community generally carry a lexical anchor which links them "genetically" to the spatio-temporal framework of their first utterance on the one hand and to the shared collective memory on the other. side (first part). On examination, it turns out that a stereotype or phrase initially restricted to a given linguistic community can transcend the framework of its first utterance by fulfilling certain conditions to henceforth access the lexical stock of another linguistic community (second part).
