On literary text in FLE classroom
Abstract
The literary fact presents itself in a complex aspect. The problem of the place of literature in education in general and that of a foreign language in particular raises many questions, especially about the role of literary language in the development of the student’s skills. Rather than claiming to present a methodology or a general pedagogy of literary discourse in French as a Foreign Language (FFL) classrooms, we have chosen to develop some reflections on the intercultural and emotional interest of literary text in the classroom. We also describe some issues and professional concerns about this theme. In sum, with this work, we estimate some possible ways to better approach the literary texts in FFL class nowadays.
