Language Teaching for Adult Migrants in Catalonia: A Conversation between Laura Navarro and Alfons Formariz
Abstract
This article presents a conversation between two experienced educators in the field of language instruction and literacy for adult migrants within the Catalan context. The interlocutors are Alfons Formariz, an educator with a long career dedicated to adult education in the context of migration, and Laura Navarro, a language teacher and literacy educator with experience as the coordinator of linguistic integration programs in the third sector. Their dialogue offers valuable insights into the past, present, and future of language and literacy education for adults, exploring the main challenges, advances, and needs of this educational task.
