The adefesio poetics in Ena Lucía Portela's works

Abstract

In this essay I study three short stories: “El sueño secreto de Cenicienta”, “Un loco dentro del baño” and “Al fondo del cementerio”, where it is evident what I use to call the “poética del adefesio”, which is the exacerbation of the rarity. Related to this aspect, I analyze how these short stories manage the contradiction between the characters belonging to this category and those belonging to normality, as well as the relationship between the author and her model reader.
