Dynamic use of Conqueta Forat (Santa Linya Lleida)
Abstract
This paper presents the dating radiocarbon program of Forat de la Conqueta. The methodology has been dating based on collagen extracted from the dentin of human remains. Dating obtained show a very prolonged burial spanning over 2000 years. In terms of period of culture, the burial of the Forat de la Conqueta begin in the Neolithic and spreads to the Final Bronze Age. The survival of the same type of ritual along this chronological strip indicate the high level of integration of a same population in a specific territory and its cultural conservatism.
