Contribució de la paleoecologia a l’estudi dels territoris d’alta muntanya: la serra de Gredos (Sistema Central) com a model
Resum
En el present treball es duu a terme una recopilació de la història de la vegetació de la serra de Gredos (Sistema Central), entre el Neolític i l’Edat mitjana, a partir de registres pol·línics procedents de jaciments arqueològics i torberes. Els principals factors que intervenen en aquesta història són la diacronia de l’impacte humà, la variabilitat climàtica i, particularment, els canvis climàtics abruptes, la recurrència dels incendis i les rutes transterminants i transhumants del pasturatge.
