Reorientando 1989. Una crítica de los estudios de transición en el contexto posyugoslavo

Resum

El artículo explora el significado del prefijo "post," el cual representa a menudo un síntoma de crisis, pero también puede implicar una temporalidad específica que recién termina. En la historia, la ideología, la industria, el socialismo… el prefijo "post" constituye una señal estructural del discurso de la transitología que alimentó ideológicamente los procesos de transición en los años noventa del siglo pasado en el antiguo bloque socialista. Se discutirá la idea de que una conceptualización matizada de la temporalidad "post" puede ofrecer una visión alternativa para re-evaluar el propio concepto de transición y la transición histórica como tal. En el texto se realiza un análisis concreto de la Yugoslavia socialista, que se puede percibir como una forma transicional con muchas fases transitorias. Además, se observará el período de la autogestión en los años sesenta, caracterizado por la "reforma de mercado," lo que permitirá detectar el "post-socialismo" al menos dos décadas antes de lo que es habitual.

Gal Kirn, ICI Berlin

He was a researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht (2008-2010), and a research fellow at ICI Berlin (2010-2012). He received a fellowship at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart (2015), and was a postdoctoral fellow of the Humboldt-Foundation (2013-2016). He has been teaching courses in film, philosophy, and contemporary political theory at the Freie Universität Berlin and at Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. Kirn published Partizanski prelomi in protislovja trznega socializma vJugoslaviji (Partisan Ruptures and Contradictions of Market Socialism in Yugoslavia) at Sophija (2014).

 

He is a co-editor (with Marian Burchardt) of Beyond Neoliberalism: Social Analysis after 1989 (forthcoming, Palgrave Macmillan), (with Peter Thomas, Sara Farris, and Katja Diefenbach), Encountering Althusser(Bloomsbury, 2012), (with Dubravka Sekulić and Žiga Testen), and of Yugoslav Black Wave Cinema and its Transgressive Moments (JvE Academie, 2012).
