Abstract

This article is an approximation to the ethnographic approach deployed in coworking spaces in Poblenou, Barcelona. A theoretical critique of the phenomenon is carried out in order to reflectively expose the different ethnographic experiences collected by apprehending some changing units of analysis in precarious condition. Also, due to the coworking spaces function as urban platforms for a supposed new economy based on atomized workers and fragile business initiatives. Finally, some preliminary data and conclusions will be presented to shed some light on a phenomenon that has not been anthropologically explored.
