En noviembre del año pasado, la Dra. Shannon Sauro (Universidad de Malmö y Universidad de Lund) y el Dr. Steven L. Thorne (Universidad de Portland State y Universidad de Groningen) visitaron el campus de la UAB para dar conferencias sobre, respectivamente, 'Fandom, las medias sociales y el aprendizaje" y "El desarrollo humano y la remediación semiótica a través de juegos de móviles'. Dean Wang is a PhD candidate at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, working in the area of Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) in association with the research group GREIP: Grup de Recerca en Ensenyament i Interacció Plurilingüe. He is associate professor of English for Specific Purposes at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
