XVIIth century. Llull’s century
Abstract
XVIIth century is marked by the figure of Ramon Llull and his method. However the intention was to criticize him, justify him or improve him, the majority of the authors (Bacon, Gassendi, Descartes, Alsted, Iquierdo, Kircher, Leibniz) consider him in some way or other. Part of Llull's importance during the “method century” is understood because he was the first in rehearsal an inventive universal art, free from the restrictions in Aristotelian method. Keywords
