Els raigs brillants del Sol Naixent. Nacionalisme i revisionisme a Japó. Una qüestió de memòria històrica (1948 - 2016)

Resum

Com a conseqüència de la fi de la dinàmica de Blocs i de la regionalització asiàtica, l’ascens d’una revifalla nacionalista a Japó a principis de segle XXI es palesa en la censura de llibres d’història escolars, en la museïtzació de punts de vista revisionistes i en la politització d’un espai problemàtic com és el santuari de Yasukuni. A partir de l’anàlisi de les contradiccions en què s’edificà la pau, evidenciades en l’ambigüitat de la figura imperial, en la fragilitat d’una memòria històrica atrapada pels relats dels vencedors i en l’actitud bipartida de la societat nipona respecte la contesa, la qual bascula entre la culpa i el victimisme, el present article pretén abordar els orígens de l’onada revisionista i com ha sabut arribar a dia d’avui a la joventut gràcies al manga i internet.
