Resum

El moviment creat per M. Fethullah Gülen s'ha consolidat com un referent de l'anomenat islam moderat. Amb un discurs integrador i consensual, Gülen ha aconseguit ser acceptat com a interlocutor per als assumptes islàmics en entorns seculars, alhora que ha afavorit el foment del diàleg inter-religiós. Amb una estratègia basada en l'educació, la comunitat religiosa Hizmet (Servei) ha aconseguit situar molts dels seus membres en posicions claus a Turquia i en altres països veïns, aconseguint una influència política determinant. En els últims anys, l'ambició política del seu màxim dirigent ha portat a una confrontació directa amb l'actual president turc, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, les conseqüències estan limitant de forma considerable la presència pública del moviment a Turquia ia l'estranger.

Sergio Castaño Riaño, Universidad Americana de Europa (UNADE), Instituto de Seguridad Global i consultora geoestratègica Wikistrat

Doctor en Estudis Europeus per la Universidad de Valladolid amb la qualificació de Cum Laude, Menció Internacional (després d'una estada a la Universitat Lliure de Brussel·les) i Premi Extraordinari de Doctorat. En l'actualitat desenvolupa la seva activitat professional com a especialista en les relacions Euro-Mediterrànies, treballant per a la Universidad Americana de Europa (UNADE), l'Instituto de Seguridad Global i per la consultora geoestratègica Wikistrat. De la mateixa manera col·labora de forma freqüent amb diversos mitjans de comunicació internacionals com a expert a Europa i la regió MENA.
