Resum
El moviment creat per M. Fethullah Gülen s'ha consolidat com un referent de l'anomenat islam moderat. Amb un discurs integrador i consensual, Gülen ha aconseguit ser acceptat com a interlocutor per als assumptes islàmics en entorns seculars, alhora que ha afavorit el foment del diàleg inter-religiós. Amb una estratègia basada en l'educació, la comunitat religiosa Hizmet (Servei) ha aconseguit situar molts dels seus membres en posicions claus a Turquia i en altres països veïns, aconseguint una influència política determinant. En els últims anys, l'ambició política del seu màxim dirigent ha portat a una confrontació directa amb l'actual president turc, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, les conseqüències estan limitant de forma considerable la presència pública del moviment a Turquia ia l'estranger.Paraules clau
