Validação da Escala de Identidade Social e Pessoal (SIPI) no Chile.

Análise de Redes Sociais (ARS) como método complementar à análise fatorial confirmatória (AFC).

Este artigo avalia comparativamente a validade da Escala de Identidades Sociais e Identidade Pessoal -SIPI- no contexto chileno e aplicada em um formato virtual usando dois métodos de análise diferentes. A partir de uma amostra de 6 64 estudantes universitários chilenos, a escala foi aplicada e estudos de validade foram realizados com a técnica de análise confirmatória e a técnica de análise de redes sociais. Os resultados mostram que em situações onde as análises tradicionais de validade dos itens do questionário, como é o caso do objetivo do estudo, apresentam resultados ambíguos, o ARS fornece um resultado complementar, permitindo conclusões mais precisas sobre a avaliação da escala . Embora ambos sejam baseados em lógica analítica semelhante, as medidas oferecidas pelo ARS também permitem estudar a qualidade do ajuste. Finalmente, os resultados dessas análises permitem aceitar o SIPI como uma escala válida para medir a identidade pessoal e social no Chile e em formato online.
