Estagnações paradoxais: vidas móveis versus imobilidade forçada

Resumo

Este artigo explora os significados e possibilidades da imobilidade descobertas pela imposição da mobilidade forçada durante a pandemia a pessoas com “vidas móveis”: nômades digitais e guias turísticos acompanhantes. Através de dez entrevistas etnográficas e de uma perspectiva antropológica existencial, consideramos se é possível sentir-se imóvel numa situação de mobilidade contínua ou, pelo contrário, experimentar uma sensação de mobilidade num cenário marcado pela imobilidade forçada. As descobertas destacam como as vidas móveis também produzem alienação. Da mesma forma, confirmam como a interpretação da imobilidade como bloqueio ou como condição de possibilidade depende da capacidade da imaginação individual de gerar novas perspectivas e horizontes de significado.
