Abstract
The topics of this book are the fiction and the post-truth. On one hand, the usage of the fiction as a tool that approximates us to the reality and this narrative style as a (re)producing source of the culture, as a necessary method to imagine the world. On the other hand, the post-truth, as a current phenomenon based on the purpose to hide the truth between the lies, a strategy that uses the sensitivity with a dominating aim. At this point, the explanation and (un)explanation are related and both confrontations must be analyzed. Science fiction, narrative, fiction, post-truth, deep fakes, or the power of the screens will be the subtopics from this point of view. An essay that contributes to support the permanent discussion about the role of the social sciences in these themes.
