Abstract

This article presents the work of Victoria Guerrero (Lima, 1968), one of the most singular and powerful voices of todays Peruvian poetry. The work proposes that this writing is nourished by the energy and conquests of the avant-garde and neo-avant-garde, as well as by their dreams of communion of art and life, but it does it from disenchantment and resistance. These would be the only lines of conduct and expression in the globalized Peruvian 21st century. In this, new coordinates are produced from the conjugation of the exigency of an ethico-political conscience and of a generic affirmation.
