Three Parallel Lives in Titus Livy’s Work: Scipio, Hannibal and Philopoemen
Abstract
The purpose of this essay is a new view on the topic of the building of a convergence between Hannibal and Scipio’s lives in Livy’s work, expanding this idea trough the possible incorporation of a third character, the Greek Philopoemen, who, in our opinion, brings the precise features to participate in this game of parallels.
