Abstract

In this work we want to value the creation of a behavioral model of health care in ancient Greece. This model addressed issues such as cleanliness, simplicity, decency, education and many other aspects that are not strictly part of téchne iatriké but were indispensable in the development of medicine in society. Thus, through the Hippocratic Corpus and epigraphy, we discuss the basics of this model that focuses on the physician, his dispensary and his instrumental.
