Ecologia, estètica de la natura i paisatges humanitzats
Resum
L’anomenat model natural ambiental d’Allen Carlson sosté que el valor estètic de la natura disminueix a mesura que creix la intensitat de les intervencions humanes en l’entorn. Així mateix, Carlson argumenta que cal aprofundir en el coneixement científic dels objectes o dels paisatges per aconseguir una apreciació estètica «correcta» de la natura. Tanmateix, aquestes premisses no es tenen en compte a l’hora d’establir principis per a una adequada apreciació estètica d’entorns humanitzats com ara els paisatges agrícoles, la qual cosa resta coherència al model natural ambiental. En aquest article s’examina aquesta contradicció i s’esbossa una concepció pluralista de l’apreciació estètica de la natura que tracta de congeniar criteris científics, ètics i estètics.Paraules clau
