Abstract

The cooperation around the life of the Human Being since their primal existence, points to the fact that cooperation among them was a mean to achieve common goals. In organizations an increase of cooperation can lead to an increase of competiveness to other groups outside of the organization, leading to competitiveness advantages.

The present article results from an investigation conducted in Mestrado in Intervenção Sócio Organizaciona em Saúde under guidance of PhD Joaquim Fialho, which focuses in the identification of the cooperation level on a Multidisciplinary Team of a health service in Hospital, then trying to understand the intra-organizational dynamics between the different actors under the guidance of Social Networks Analysis (SNA). Approaching the concept of social networks in a dynamic perspective, which is not fixed, but aided by a dual research by applying a quantitative approach (sociometric survey) in two different times, with subsequent application of an interview with the key actor in the network, to understand better the metamorphoses of the network and allowing the creation of early alert signs in the organization.
