Análisis de redes sociales para la evaluación de la actividad turística

Resumen

Identificando el creciente interés de emplear el análisis de redes sociales para evaluar fenómenos complejos propios de la actividad turística, este trabajo se propone describir las principales características del uso del análisis de redes en el turismo. Se conformó una muestra de 149 estudios obtenidos en bases de datos. Posteriormente, se clasificaron los intereses investigativos en seis grandes grupos, cada uno de ellos caracterizado por una orientación particular. Se encontró que cada una de las categorías de los estudios tiene diferentes implicaciones prácticas para la investigación sobre la actividad turística.  Finalmente, se identificaron fortalezas del estado de la investigación, y se propusieron perspectivas de investigación futuras.
