Digital resources for audiovisual and listening comprehension

Abstract

Inputconstitutes the central element for the design of the teaching of listening comprehension in a foreign language. In order to facilitate the teacher's selection of input, the article presents an annotated list of sources of both authentic and non-authentic material, suitable for development of listening and audiovisual comprehension activities. Special attention is given to materials published as open educational resources. Suggestions for integrating online audio and video into learning sequences for Spanish as foreign languages teaching are offered in the comments to each resource.
