Abstract

The present work describes the aspects to be taken into account in the implementation of Animal Assisted Therapies (TAA). It highlights different studies analyzed where the benefit of TAA is observed. It also explains the standards to be taken into account as well as the various evaluation systems that are available to assess the results of the TAA program. Finally, an application of the analyzed content is made for the implementation of a TAA program in a Hospital, specifically in pediatrics.
