Resum

Aquest article és la introducció al número especial sobre Traducció Literària Assistida per Ordinador. En aquesta secció especial s'analitzen els diferents graus d'automatització i el paper de l'ésser humà en els processos automatitzats, ja sigui com a expert o com a principiant. Partim del plantejament que l'automatització pot fer realitats ideals lloables, com ara un mercat mundial del llibre més accessible i divers, però també pot tenir repercussions negatives, sobretot en un context cultural. Aquesta introducció ofereix una visió general de la complexa interacció entre la tecnologia i la participació humana a la traducció literària.
