El desarrollo del libro álbum en Colombia: 1970 – 2008
Abstract
The development of the picture book in Colombia forms the main topic of this article, which offers a very general explanation of the rise and development of Colombian children's literature from the eighties onwards, with special emphasis on the national collections of illustrated books and picture books. Mention is made of works that served as precursors to this genre and of the publishers that led the way, and an overview of the current situation is given.
