Webquest amb fins acadèmics — una estratègia per desenvolupar les competències eap dels estudiants

Resum

La pandèmia de SRAS-CoV-2 ha afectat profundament el sector educatiu i ha provocat canvis ràpids i imprevistos que han alterat significativament tant els entorns de treball d’educadors i estudiants com les metodologies de difusió i adquisició de coneixements. Com a resposta, els professors d’idiomes han explorat cada cop més estratègies pedagògiques que impliquen activament els estudiants en la creació de continguts. Per tant, diverses tasques que incorporen l’aprenentatge basat en projectes i altres tècniques de participació dels estudiants s’han integrat com a components estàndard de l’ensenyament d’idiomes.

Aquest article vol examinar els beneficis potencials de la implementació d’una WebQuest en un curs d’anglès amb fins acadèmics (EAP). Presenta una anàlisi en profunditat d’un estudi realitzat amb participants d’un curs de llengua acadèmica, centrat en l’eficàcia de les WebQuests per millorar habilitats específiques d’EAP.

Magdalena Łubiarz, The Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow

I am the doctor of Humanities in the field of Linguistics (conferred in 2019), a graduate of Russian philology and German language at the Pedagogical University in Krakow. Currently, I work as a senior lecturer at the Interfaculty Department of Foreign Languages at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. My research interests include cognitive linguistics, neurolinguistics and foreign language didactics.

I am the doctor of Humanities in the field of Linguistics (conferred in 2020), as well as a certified educator. Currently I serve as a senior lecturer at the Interfaculty Department of Foreign Languages at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow. My main research areas and interests are: professional development of foreign language teachers, factors that impact language education efficacy and the integration of new technologies in foreign language teaching and professional development initiatives.
