Aprenent dels carrers: una revisió d'última generació sobre Paisatges Lingüístics i Educació per a la Ciutadania Global

Resum

En aquest article, explorem la utilització dels paisatges lingüístics (PL) com a eina pedagògica dins el marc de l'educació per a la ciutadania global (ECG). Investiguem com els PL, que representen de manera visible el multilingüisme i la diversitat en espais públics, poden contribuir a les pràctiques d'ECG. La recerca sobre els PL ha revelat el seu potencial per fomentar la consciència crítica dels estudiants respecte a la diversitat, l'empatia cap als altres amb diversitat cultural i lingüística, i l'acció per a la justícia lingüística social. Destaquem la relació sinèrgica entre l'ECG i els PL. A través d'una revisió exhaustiva de l'estat de l'art en ambdós camps, argumentem que els PL poden ser una eina pedagògica eficaç per promoure l'ECG. Les conclusions subratllen el potencial dels PL per ajudar els estudiants a esdevenir ciutadans globals críticament informats, empàtics i compromesos, contribuint així a un món més sostenible.
