about RLLT

RLLT (Romance Languages and Linguistic Theory) is the official venue for the publication of selected papers from Going Romance, LSRL, and Romania Nova. It was initially published in Probus, then taken over by John Benjamins, and is now part of Isogloss.

RLLT is a collection of selected, peer-reviewed conference papers (that is, it is not the proceedings of these conferences). All submissions undergo double-blind peer review and are edited accordingly. The editors carry out a pre-selection based on the papers presented at the conference, and then send a Special Issue proposal to Isogloss.
An RLLT special issue should include no more than 20 articles, with a maximum of 25 submissions allowed.

Each article must be reviewed by two reviewers (rather than the usual three for Isogloss), since the papers have already undergone two rounds of evaluation (one for the abstract and another following the conference presentation). All submissions will be treated as Isogloss articles, meaning they may ultimately be rejected.

Please contact us if you are planning to publish an RLLT issue for further instructions.
