Author Biography

Miriam Lamas Baiak, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos

Miriam Lamas Baiak is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and researcher. She graduated in Dance from the "Faculdade de Artes do Paraná" in Brazil, with the specialization in physiology of exercise "PUCPR" (Brazil) and she holds an  MA in performing arts from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.  She is currently working on her PhD in Humanities, on the influence of globalization on classical Indian dance, bharata natyam and kathak.
